Director Assets and Community
Liam Arnott has more than 15 years’ experience in local government and the civil construction sector, with a strong background in infrastructure, asset management and community services in a large rural municipality. He is responsible for the strategic oversight of Council’s infrastructure, asset management, project delivery and community portfolios, ensuring they are well planned, well managed and aligned with community needs.
Liam has held senior leadership roles overseeing complex operational and capital programs and leading large, multidisciplinary teams. He brings a practical, people-focused leadership style, with a strong emphasis on looking after Council’s assets, building capable teams and delivering services that support community wellbeing.
Liam holds qualifications in civil construction and project management and maintains a strong focus on engineering-based practice and continuous professional development.
