Community assistance fund

Grants of up to $15,000 aimed at supporting community organisations to deliver services and activities that benefit the community.

There are four categories with different funding rations as follows:

Funding stream Up to $3,000 (project total cost) $3,001 and over maximum contribution from council is $15,000
Equipment No applicant contribution required $1: $1
Capital works No applicant contribution required $1: $1
Community strengthening No applicant contribution required $1: $1
Funded organisations program No applicant contribution required Not eligible

Round 1

Applications open Monday 25 August 2025 at 10am

Applications close Friday 19 September 2025 at 5pm

Round 2

Applications open Monday 2 February 2026 at 10am

Applications close Friday 27 February 2026 at 5pm

Any organisation that has not already registered on this portal will need to login with an email address (preferably generic email for each club/organisation) and enter a password.

Please ensure you contact a community assistance fund program officer prior to applying on 1300 656 564 or cafs@moyne.vic.gov.au (This is a mandatory requirement)
