Registration for enrolment in 2027
Expressions of interest for places at a Moyne Shire Kindergarten in 2027 will open in May 2026.
The enrolment process for 2027 is outlined below:
Step 1: Register your interest (May-June 2026)
Open days will be held in May 2026 for new families - dates will be advised via Council's social media accounts.
Expression of interest for Enrolments in 2027 will in May and close in June. Dates will be advertised via Council's social media and regular channels.
Step 2: Allocation process (July - August 2026)
When registrations close, our Enrolment Officer will allocate places based on the priority of access criteria.
Step 3: Offers sent (Late September 2026)
Once kindergarten program models have been confirmed and the allocation of places has been completed, families will be notified of the place that has been offered to their child (including the session days and times for that group).
Step 4: Complete enrolment record (September to November 2026)
Families will be asked to either check and confirm current enrolment information or complete a comprehensive enrolment form.
We will also ask you to provide a copy of your child’s birth certificate, an up-to-date Immunisation History Statement, and any documentation relevant to medical conditions or court orders.
Your allocated kindergarten will contact you directly regarding orientation for your child and to help you prepare for kindergarten in 2027.
