Chief Executive Officer
Mark Eversteyn is the Chief Executive Officer of Moyne Shire Council.
Mark has over 25 years’ experience in commercial finance and supply chain operations, with an extensive history leading successful companies across the globe.
He joined Moyne in 2024 from Americold - one of the world’s top cold chain logistics organisations - where he was Director of Operations and responsible for successful 3rd party warehouse and transport operations for some of the nation’s biggest companies, including Coles, Woolworths, Saputo and KFC.
Mark has previously been General Manager of Linfox M Logistics Thailand, where he led a team of more than 600 people in one of the most highly competitive logistics markets in South East Asia. He was also National Commercial & Strategic Manager at Australian Pharmaceutical Industries, where he led the commercial finance team for an organisation at that time with over $4 billion per year in revenue.
Throughout his career, Mark has consistently led and delivered successful change and organisation improvement by building high performing teams.
Mark is a Chartered Practicing Accountant with CPA Australia and holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from RMIT along with a Certificate in Logistics Optimisation from The University of Melbourne.
