Ryan Corner and Hawkesdale Wind Farm – Amendment to Planning Permits

The Minister for Planning is giving notice of 2 applications to amend the planning permits for the Ryan Corner and Hawkesdale Wind Farms. 

Council will make a submission to the Minister on these amendments.

Community feedback is sought to assist Council in making a submission.

Submissions to Council need to be in writing and submitted to Council by COB Monday, 11 October, 2021. Submissions to Council can be sent to the Moyne Shire Council Offices, Princes Street (PO Box 51), Port Fairy 3284 or emailed to moyne@moyne.vic.gov.au

Note – Council is not the decision maker, it is the Minister for Planning and objections can be lodged via post or email to development approvals@delwp.vic.gov.au .

Council will limit its consideration of the amendment application to:

  • the nature and extent of changes proposed by the amendment application for the wind farm outlined in the attached notice;
  • any significant detrimental effects which the amendment will have on the use and enjoyment of land;
  • the content of the Moyne Planning Scheme provisions as they relate to the amendments proposed for the wind farm.

The existing planning permit will remain valid irrespective of the outcome of this amendment application.
