Jet patcher filling a pothole in Koroit

Works planned for next week:

Construction

  • Terang-Darlington Road - 200m length across newly constructed bridge awaiting final trim and seal.
  • Woorndoo-Streatham Road - final 1km of reconstruction works set to be sealed next week.
  • Hopkins Falls Road / O’Sullivan’s Road intersection - ready for sealing next week.

Open space

  • Elizabeth-Jehu Street Reserve - tree removal works completed with mulch in place for future planting. Additional trees have been identified for removal due to poor structure now they have been exposed. 
  • Mowing crews are working through the structured 3-week program.
  • Annual playground inspections underway in Port Fairy.

Maintenance

  • Crews working continue to work through community requests for pothole repairs.
  • Carpark at Woolsthorpe public toilets is now levelled and sealed.
  • Programmed tree works underway with combined works between council and contractor crews working through requests and programmed works areas.
  • Grading works completed on Heskeths Road, Nardoo Road and Halladale Street.
  • Crews continuing to work through grading requests as received.
