Neil Porter Legacy

• A local not-for-profit facilitating careers education and experiences, empowering students to make informed career-based decisions
• The NPL works in partnership with secondary schools and businesses to include careers in all areas of the curriculum, in memory of a popular teacher who guided many students into rewarding careers
• Students are exposed to a variety of industries as part of secondary school classes from Years 7 - 12, enabling them to experience practical uses of their learning and to see how their interests and school learning can be used in a career
• Students make community contacts, businesses are able to share their work with a potential future workforce and there’s no cost to schools or industry. It’s win-win!
