Young drivers across the south-west can learn skills to keep them safe thanks to a program aiming to give young people new skills, close to home and free of charge. The course is open to all young people who live, work or play in the region, including Warrnambool, Moyne, Glenelg, Southern Grampians and Corangamite shires.

Mayor Cr Karen Foster said the FUSE South West program of free training courses and hands-on experiences is a positive initiative that responds to what young people are saying they want and need.

“We know there are many young drivers who would love to learn skills that will keep them safe on our roads”, said Cr Foster.

“The courses are coming up soon in the school holidays and will book out quickly. We urge young people to act now to secure a spot.”
