Lloyd Ross

Councillor

Headshot of Lloyd Ross

Cr Lloyd Ross was born in Macarthur and has spent most of his life in the local area. After finishing school, he moved to Melbourne, where he spent eight years completing his training and working as a fitter and turner.

He later returned to Macarthur to continue his connection with the land running a beef cattle farm.

In 2024, Lloyd was elected to Council for the first time. He is passionate about strengthening local communities by supporting industry, creating opportunities for growth, and helping to revitalise our small towns.

As a Councillor, Lloyd is a strong advocate for Moyne's rural communities, with a particular focus on maintaining roads, ensuring value for ratepayers, improving town presentation, and protecting the natural environment and local wildlife. He is committed to helping build a prosperous and well-maintained Shire for current and future generations.

Outside of Council and farming, Lloyd enjoys spending time with family and friends, sharing good food, and pursuing his interest in birdwatching.
