Trees being trimmed and removed from Elizabeth-Jehu Street Reserve, Port Fairy

Works planned for next week:

Construction works

  • Terang-Darlington Road - preparation for final trim underway with final seal scheduled over newly constructed bridge.
  • Woorndoo-Streatham Road - final 200m of seal to be finished next week with line marking to complete project planned.
  • Hopkins Falls-O’Sullivan’s Road - awaiting firming up of soft spots with sealing anticipated by mid-July weather pending.
  • Three graders currently working on road maintenance as requests are received. 

Open space

  • Jehu / Elizabeth Street - tree removal works and mulching underway.
  • Planning underway for Plane tree removal works in Bourke Avenue, Koroit.

Maintenance

  • Woolsthorpe toilet block carpark seal complete with line marking booked for next week.
  • Goldies Lane, Port Fairy bus stop installed.
  • Footpath clearing of overgrowth underway along Ocean Drive near The Passage and Southcombe Caravan park end, Port Fairy.

Sealing
