These premises are located on Council owned land and managed by the Moyne Shire Council with part of the premises currently leased to the Country Fire Authority (CFA) in accordance with the Local Government Act 2020 and Council's Leasing Policy. The existing lease expires on 14 September 2026.
Pursuant to the Local Government Act 2020 and Council's Leasing Policy, Council intends negotiate a new lease agreement with the CFA for terms which include a three-year lease and a two-year& option commencing 15 September 2026. The purpose of the lease is for the existing tenant to continue operating their business.
Any person making a submission on the proposed lease may also request to be heard in support of the submission by Council at its meeting on 24 February 2026.
