Second roll out of bin latches

To avoid lids on recycling bins opening, particularly when blown over on windy days, a new Safewaste latch has been provided. The latch stops recycling escape and auto-releases when the bin is emptied into the collection truck.

Latches will be available for purchase from Port Fairy and Mortlake Moyne Shire Council Offices, Customer Service from 1 June 2022 between office hours of 8.30am – 5pm
