Event support services

The Council offers a range of services to help make your event a success. Whether you’re planning a small community gathering or a large event, we can provide the support, facilities, and resources you need to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Venue Hire

Moyne Shire has a number of venues to hire including community halls, theatres and rooms available for casual and regular group hire. Please ensure you complete the appropriate application form at Venues for Hire

 

Equipment and infrastructure hire

Council provides a limited range equipment and infrastructure to loan or hire:

  • Bollards for road (cost to your event will be provided)
  • PA system
  • A frame and sign boards
  • Accessibility equipment such as portable ramps, portable accessible toilet, a beach wheelchair, signage.
  • Trailer with giant outdoor games

Equipment Hire Form must be received at least three months ahead of the planned event, noting that this does not guarantee that the equipment will be available.

 

Visitor Information Centre marketing support

The Port Fairy and region visitor information centre is an essential distribution outlet for marketing materials promoting your event. Our volunteer ambassadors maintain a wealth of knowledge to share with visitors but need your updates, support and involvement to ensure your event benefits.
