Koroit’s race for gold begins

Koroit’s race for gold is underway, with voting for the Victorian Top Tourism Town awards now open.

Koroit is vying for the small-town title and Moyne Shire Council Mayor Cr Karen Foster encouraged the community to help spread the word.

“Tell everyone you know who has ever been and experienced everything Koroit has to offer to jump online and cast a vote,” she said.

“Share it on your socials, help relatives and neighbours who aren’t tech savvy with the online voting.

“Being a finalist in these awards is so exciting and great news for not only Koroit, but the entire Moyne Shire region. We have seen what a win in these awards can do to attract people to our region and we hope to do it again with Koroit as the focus.”

Cr Foster said voting would run until 6pm on June 22 and votes could made at  www.vtic.com.au/toptourismtown/koroit
