The Hawkesdale and District Development Action Committee (HADDDAC) would like to invite you to participate in a community workshop on the draft Hawkesdale Community Plan. The Plan has been co-funded through AGL Macarthur Windfarm Community Grants, HADDAC and Moyne Shire Council.
The draft Plan includes, themes and ideas for projects across the Hawkesdale township to support liveability, events and community activities. As COVID delayed broader community consultation, to date the Plan has been developed by HADDAC members in discussion with the project consultants and Council. It is therefore critical that we receive community input into the draft Plan.
The community workshop will include a presentation from the project consultants Land Design Partnership and provide opportunities for the community to discuss project ideas, concerns and opportunities. HADDAC, the consultant and Council will be available to answer questions that you may have in relation to the project and the Plan.
The community workshop will build on engagement with Hawkesdale P12 students and will inform finalisation of the Plan. A response paper to consultation questions, issues and outcomes will also be provided once the consultation is completed and the Plan is finalised.
