Youth Showcase
The 2022 Warrnambool & Moyne Youth Showcase will come to life in September as part of Victorian Youth Fest.
The Showcase is a partnership between the Moyne Youth Art Collective and Warrnambool FReeZA and celebrates art in all forms - visual, performance, music, design, film, photography and more.
This year's Youth Showcase is a chance to share your talents, sell your stuff, connect with other young people and promote yourself! We're looking for people aged 25 years and under who would like to be part of the showcase as one of the below:
- Artists and/or Content Creators, open to all types of media for exhibition in the Moyne Virtual Gallery Youth Showcase Exhibition
- Visual Artists, to submit works for the Coaster Show and Up In Lights Gallery
- Stall Holders, for a Young Makers' Market
- Performers, such as musos, dancers/dance groups, roving performers, aerialists, DJ's, spoken word etc. to perform at the Young Makers' Market
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITIES
Moyne Virtual Gallery (MVG) Online Exhibition
The MVG is an online exhibition space for young artists and replicates the real-world experience of visiting a gallery.
The Youth Showcase Arts Exhibition is open to all types of media including visual arts (all forms), photography, short film, animation, digital content, spoken word.

Young Makers' Market
The Moyne Youth Arts Collective is hosting a Young Makers' Market on Sunday 25 September, 10am to 4pm.
The Young Makers' Market gives young people a platform to grow their small business ideas, so if you're a creative young person and want to sell and/or promote your products, make sure you register your interest now!
It's free to participate! The only rule is that you have to have created or altered the product yourself!
Note: We will also take applications for pre-loved clothing stalls!
Stall holder applications are now open and close on Sunday 21 August.

Coaster Show
A Unique group show for visual artists. Exhibition to be held Saturday 10 September, Studio B at the F Project Warrnambool.
You're invited to submit art works in any medium completed on paper coasters supplied in each entry pack.
Collect entry packs from school art rooms, Archie Graham Centre, F Project, Moyne Shire Office Port Fairy.
Max 3 entries per person. Entries to be dropped off @ F Project, Pleasant Hill coffee Van, Archie Graham Centre or Moyne Shire Office Port Fairy by Thursday 1 September.
Fun prizes to be won + 8 artworks will be selected for the 2022 Up In Lights Gallery in Timor Walk Laneway Warrnambool.
Up In Lights Art Award
The Up in Lights Gallery in Timor Walk Lane Warrnambool is a series of 4 light boxes showing 8 visual artworks made by young artists.
The 2022 Up in Lights Gallery will showcase eight artworks from the Coaster Show selected by a panel of guest judges. Artists selected for the Up in Lights Gallery will receive $100 and have their work displayed in this prominent public space for twelve months.
The selected artworks to be announced at the Coaster Show Exhibition on Saturday 10 September, Studio B at the F Project Warrnambool.
Note: This opportunity is open to young people aged 12-25 participating in the Coast Show.

Live Performance Opportunities
We're looking for young musicians, bands, aerialists, dancers/dance groups, acrobats, etc. to perform at the Youth Makers’ Market, Youth Awards Presentation Event along with other Youth Showcase Launch Events.
