Love local and win this Christmas

Tick off the Christmas shopping list and go into the draw to win $500 to spend at a local business with a special late night shopping event on December 9.

Shops in Port Fairy will be open till 8pm as part of the Love Local Moyne Late Night Shopping event which Mayor Cr Karen Foster said aimed to encourage people to shop locally.

“The Love Local campaign is all about celebrating the fantastic businesses we have right here in Moyne and supporting them,” she said.

“Having shops open till 8pm will mean there’s a bit of extra time to head out and pick up some Christmas gifts locally.”

Cr Foster said there would also be a chance to win across the weekend – with a $500 voucher to a local store of the winner’s choice up for grabs.

“All you have to do is put your details on the back of your receipt, put it in the box and you could be the lucky winner,” she said.

“Purchases made on Saturday and Sunday will also be eligible, so it’s a great weekend to get that Christmas shopping done.”
