Hole Big Yarn encore performance - Port Fairy
The Hole Big Yarn knitting and crochet project initiated in Panmure early this year will be re-installed as an encore event in Port Fairy on November 8th, 11am – 4pm. The Panmure community participants of the original project invite you and your family to come down and have a look at the pieces installed. This installation is a smaller version of the original but is being generously re-installed by popular demand.

    Run for a Safe Climate arrives in Codrington
    The Run for a Safe Climate aims to higlight the impacts and solutions to global warming. Emergency workers will run 6000km from Cooktown in Queensland to Melbourne starting on October 30.

    This workshop is a practical and informative introduction to the logic and framework of the Transition Towns model. This grassroots international movement builds localised, resilient
    communities in response to climate change and peak oil.
    The workshop is both informative and experiential, weaving together practice and theory and the transition required
    at both the personal and community level. The feedback
    from participants overwhelmingly states that this two-day interactive workshop offers key insights, understandings, and
    the awareness to help them in contributing to the journey toward a positive and abundant future.

    Cost - free.
