No longer on display. Expired on 06 October 2017, 04:30 PM

The State Government has amended the Domestic Animals Act 1994 with the objective of further improving animal management outcomes in Victoria. Please visit the Agriculture - Domestic Animal Management Plans for more information

We have developed the Draft Domestic Animal Management Plan 2017-2021.

Community feedback is incredibly valuable to the development of the Domestic Animal Management Plan.

The purpose of this Domestic Animal Management Plan is to provide Council with clear direction to encourage more residents within Moyne Shire to be responsible pet owners.

  1. The overarching objectives of this plan are to:
  2. Increase the enjoyment people receive from their pet,
  3. Reduce the incidence of problems within the community related to pets being a nuisance or causing injury to people or other animals, and
  4. Contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of pets.
