Moyne Shire Council-owned Gardens Caravan Park in Port Fairy has picked up a most improved caravan park award from the Victorian Caravan Parks Association.
Moyne Corporate Business Manager Dean Robertson said park manager Ken Baker and his staff were thrilled to receive the award, which recognised their outstanding customer service, improvement to facilities and the park’s overall look and feel.
The Victorian Caravan Parks Association Inc. gave the award to the park for being the most improved park in the south-west division based on the greatest increase in points as rated by AAA Tourism.
The parks association presents certificates as it is the industry's way of recognising individual effort that collectively improves the industry's image.
Mr Robertson said it was a lovely surprise for the staff to receive the award.
“The Council is really proud of its caravan park staff who do a fantastic job providing holiday makers with clean, tidy facilities and great customer service,” he said.
“The award is well deserved and we congratulate and thank Ken and all his staff for their efforts.” | |
