More than 100 young people ... more than 100 bikes ... more than 130km ... le Tour de Moyne is on again! The Moyne community is being encouraged to line the le Tour de Moyne cycling relay route and cheer on the young people as they make their way around the Shire on Sunday December 13. Moyne Shire's Youth Councillors, their friends and family have been in training for le Tour de Moyne 2009, which will taken in 132km of the Shire. In the spirit of le Tour de France, le Tour de Moyne took the south-west cycling world by storm in its first year in 2007. The Moyne Shire Youth Council holds le Tour to engage their peers, raise funds for their projects and events, and promote a healthy lifestyle. Le Tour de Moyne will start in Panmure at 7am on Sunday December 13, travelling through Mortlake, Hawkesdale and Koroit before finishing in Port Fairy around 1.30pm with a community barbecue and event on Railway Place. The whole community is welcome to join us to help celebrate another successful le Tour de Moyne! Download a route map, more information and registration package by clicking on the links below.
