Printer Friendly | HOME>Waste management | Moyne Shire Council promotes waste minimisation, and puts this into practice by offering residents responsible and sustainable ways of disposing of waste. The Council encourages residents to reduce, reuse and recycle:-
Reduce consumption – buy recycled products. Re-use goods – hand on items you no longer need. Recycle – place newspapers, plastics, and rinsed jars and bottles in your recycling bin.

| Waste facilities closed on total fire ban days | | Please note that all Moyne Shire waste facilities will be closed on total fire ban days to ensure community and staff safety. The effected waste facility will be reopened on the next scheduled day. Click on the "Tips and waste facilities" link above to view facility sites and opening times. To find out whether a total fire ban has been declared phone the CFA’s fire restriction service on 1800 240 667. | |
