With increasing numbers of Chinese visitors making the journey to the stunning surrounds of the Great Ocean Road, this exciting Australian-first training program has helped local tourism businesses be China-ready.

Four Moyne businesses successfully graduated from the intense six-month course:

Gardens Caravan Park, Port Fairy
Tower Hill Visitor Centre, Tower Hill
Southern Ocean Mariculture, Yambuk
Cheese World, Allansford

These businesses were part of a group of 12 Great South Coast businesses who undertook a series of workshops, one-on-one advisory sessions and practical exercises to challenge and build diverse business skills ensuring they are able to offer world-class service to Chinese visitors.

The program ran from October 2018 to March 2019 and was tailored for our region to support business leaders who are ready to thrive in the growing and competitive Chinese marketplace.
