James Street Trees - have your say

Council has resolved to remove cypress and other trees from the roadside in James Street, Port Fairy between Campbell Street and Ocean Drive.

Two reports adopted by Council have recommended that the trees be removed and replaced because the trees are in decline and have a useful life expectancy of only five to ten years. You can view the reports and associated information on this page.

Before removing the trees Council is seeking feedback regarding the preferred replacement species of tree and the location of the replacement trees.
