Have Your Say on Early Years Services
Published on 14 June 2019
Council is calling on residents to help shape the future of early years services in Moyne Shire.
As part of a review into services provided for families with children aged 0-6 years, interested residents are encouraged to attend upcoming listening posts and/or complete an online survey.
Moyne Shire Council Manager of Community Services, Jan Consedine said community feedback was important in understanding the current and future needs of local families.
“Moyne Shire Council is committed to supporting families to live happy and safe lives in our community,” said Mrs Consedine.
“We are currently developing an Early Years Plan for the whole of the Shire which includes services and support such as childcare, kindergarten, maternal child health, supported playgroups and immunisation,.
“Feedback from local families will help us ensure the Plan meets the needs of the community and we encourage as many people to get involved as possible.”
The community listening posts will be held at kindergartens and childcare centres across Moyne Shire between 17 June and 20 June, 2019, and the online survey is now open until 30 June 2019. For more information and to complete the survey visit www.moyne.vic.gov.au/earlyyears.
