Waste Facilities (tips)

All waste disposal sites and transfer stations will be closed on the Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.  Please check this page for details

Office Closures

All Moyne Shire Offices will be closed from 3pm on 22 December 2017, until 8.45am on 2 January 2018.

Local Laws/animal control

Local Laws Officers can be contacted by phoning (03) 5568 0555 and following the prompts.

Aged care services

Aged and Disability service, domestic assistance and respite will not be provided after 22 December 2017 until 2 January 2018. Services will be continuing for clients requiring personal care and meals on wheels.

If any assistance is required during this period call (03) 5568 0555 and follow the prompts for the Aged & Disability Care Services.

Maternal and Child Health Centres

All centres will be closed from 22 December 2017, until 2 January 2018 when they will re-open according to their normal schedules.

Port Fairy and Region Visitor Information Centre

Open every day 9am to 5pm except Christmas Day.

Closed from 3pm 22 December 2017 re-opens 8am 2 January 2018

Mount Shadwell Quarry

The quarry will be closed from 11am on 21 December 2017 and re-open on 8 January 2018. Fossicking is available by contacting the Mortlake Information centre (03) 5599 2899 or 0456 700 862 between the hours of 10am and 4pm - bookings are essential. Fossicking will not be available on the Christmas weekend or the weekend of New Year’s Eve.
